Original dial on this vintage Seamaster?

Hi, I’m new here and greatly appreciate your help on this! I’m considering purchasing this Seamaster (14390-62-SC) but I’ve never seen a dial like this on this reference. The hands have no lume and there are no lume plots on the hour markers either.

Does this raise red flags for you guys? I haven’t found a similar dial with this reference after a few hours of digging.

A few notes:
- the case back has the embossed sea dragon logo
- the inside of the case back is marked with the reference number
- the movement is a 285
- the crown is signed

Looks nice to me, so far. Do you have a shot of the back and the movement?

Any idea on approx value? I love the patina on the dial, not sure what I should offer though

The Omega and Seamaster script look correct but I can’t believe there were no minute markers originally. I wonder if someone tried to clean the dial, a few minute markers inadvertently came away so they removed the lot.

So I’ll weigh in as I have a similar model. Mine is a seamaster 30 from 1963. Same dial layout except I have crosshairs. Mine is lumeless as well as they are.

but if you look closely, mine has a minute track. so something fishy there.

OMEGA logo in relation to the AML looks off-center to me. Font doesn't look quite right to me either

I’d be worried about the case back picture, it seems overprocessed and overexposed in a way that could minimize scratches.

Thank you all for your feedback! It seems like this one might not be the one…

Just the fact that it should have a minute marker track and doesn’t is cause to walk away. The dial has been altered by someone that probably had good intentions but failed in execution.

you will find one.
