Cry For Help: where can I find a Jaeger-LeCoultre Balance Staff for Cal. 849?

Hi to all fellow OF members:

I am looking for a balance staff for Jaeger LeCoultre caliber 849. Do you have any idea where I could find that part? I'd like to avoid having to send the watch to JlC service center. They will charge 2 arms and 2 legs for an inexpensive part.

Might help if you told us where you are, If you have tried to find the part, and WHO you tried that couldn’t supply the part. Sorta narrow it down a bit?
