The OP asked for opinions. The opinions that count the most are often the most critical.

Not everybody wants to hear happy bunny thoughts.

The Rio Mk II by a country mile... Though on current form, these olympics could be a total disaster (!)

But that will make it a truly historic piece; a non working, working piece...and the only watch you have to keep paying for under the table to keep functioning.

(Please Brazilian members, forgive the jokes....)

Speaking as a relatively newcomer onto this forum. I have to say I actually don't mind and value the feedback, good or bad. I recently posted a pic of a beat up speedy I was considering and asked for thoughts. Indeed expecting to see and hoping for some negative feedback. Just to understand the negative. Found that important in my decision making.

Granted we are speaking about very different watches from very different periods.

Am sure the OP person (as with me) will be smart enough to collate the data and make a good informed and personal decision.

I have seen the rio bullhead at an AD I think it looks worse in the flesh than in the pictures. My choice if I was going for a rio watch would be the mark ii which looks nice in the flesh. For me though the roullette wins hands down over everything, but as it is top of my list of watches to own I might be a little bias.

If you don't have a Mark II already then that might fit into your collection - and I think the gold, silver and bronze subdials are more in keeping with the Olympic theme.

My next purchase will be casual too - I hope one of last years PloProfs arrives in time to take to Rio.

Funny thing is I mostly don’t disagree with the content, I just find the sneering form in poor taste.

As the tile suggests, Opinions are wanted... although they will most likely be ignored..😉

Next one is going to be 'Uber-Casual'...

but I am struggling.......

ok, between the models shown, my personal preference/pick would be the Mark II non-Rio....I think those Bull Head models are cool, sporty and most likely fit your Uber-Casual criteria, but the fad of these may erode in the years ahead...come back and show us your decision!

Hi @Superdoc
Hi Guys

It's 17 hrs since my 1st posting & i've read all the constructive opinions & criticisms, views with merits some not so. A few rather hard hitting comments too & a reader even made a joke about advising Superdoc to avoid purchasing the watches & instead try & beat the odds at a Casino in Rio.

@Superdoc MUST BE travelling to the Rio Olympics 2016 in his Professional capacity as an Omega Ambassador d589a12eb2598e725565ff5f2e36fc6a.jpg so he has commitments to sport either the Bull Head or the Rio MK II on his wrist. Let that be very clear.. so Guys dont ask Superdoc to wear a G Shock ok? 330ddc9c741bada69424ec98d9ddd1ae.jpg
To the Omega newcomers: Did you know that Superdoc had a significant influence on Omega's decision to keep the date window off the Platinum Globemaster ? ( Info from J.C Monachan via email correspondences right Superdoc? ) 406b96bed6833a10e4a673468eb9f5d7.jpg

Have a Safe Trip to an Amazing Memorable Rio Olympics Superdoc. It's Going To Be A Tropical Blast !!! Just like the Most Successful FIFA World Cup Rio 2014 . Keep us Updated in Rio with some Live Reporting ala CNN ! I personally would be dying to know the type of watches the Track & Field Athletes sport on their wrists in the Olympic village !!!

You missed my point. Sorry British wit.
There was a link there with Casinos and recommending the roulette Bullhead. Granted not an obvious one?

In Rio, it's better to wear no watch ... I've been there few times, and even the swatch was too much !

And here I thought people were just making light of the situation.

Wow, I think those are all sweet choices... I also think it is impossible to pick the right one without trying them all on; if that's possible!

But just from the pics, I like both of the Rio models (#s 1 & 3, right?)...

All the best in the decision 👍

I don't think you can go wrong with any of these, nor, any of those 8 Carnaval girls!

Edit: Upon re-reading my post, and it almost appears as though I'm critiquing dancers 😲, not watches... well, in either case, I still recommend trying all of them on, first...😗

I was going to ask if he was an official Omega mascot or something. 😀But was afraid it would result in more pictures of him.🤔

It's a collectors forum. Greed has nothing to do with it. It's pasion
