    Hi everyone

I've just started looking at this watch. Still a noob though. I'd appreciate any comments you may have!
I've watched all the photos the seller has supplied me so far.
    Cheers

I can give my thoughts, but first - what do you think?

I like the look of it, not sure if it's "patina" or damage, but not sure how much that matters if I like the dial.
When I started on this path my hope was for a 500 series movement (just because people said it was the best one to get) and I leaned towards Constellations. But when they proved hard/expensive, I started looking at Seamsters and not just 500s.
    How's that?

Crown is a later replacement, should be a cloverleaf.

Also these cal 410/420 watches often tend to be a bit smaller, 32-33mm not 34.5mm like a typical cal 50x automatic, so I would confirm the size prior to purchase.

I think this model (2761 I believe) is actually the more normal 34-35mm size, but it doesn’t hurt to confirm. I also think it should have a unique cloverleaf and not the traditional one - see mine below. This wouldn’t be an easy crown to find I imagine.

Case seems reasonably nice but has probably received some polishing.

    That would be 34mm.

Seconds hand seems a bit short, maybe it has a broken tip.
    Nice watch though.
