Yea we managed to hold onto the good stuff and sold off most of the rejects to some German guy in Australia 馃榿

Who got filthy rich in flipping these to unsuspecting Aussies and Kangaroos......Forever grateful to both of you. Kind regards. Achim

Hello everyone, I just wanted to say the watch is on it's way and I reposted the pictures.

Thank you everyone who helped me with your expertise and I already learned a lot from many people here. I am thankful I can be part of the community and hope to somehow contribute in the future.

I have actually a couple more watches from the same dealer in my home country I would very much like to get the feedback on from you guys. Two very old sub-second Omegas from the 40s. I believe they also might be exciting purchases based on what I already researched on the forum about old sub-seconds.

Anyway, but for now I am just saying thank you and wishing everyone a great day.

Ah we already seen them before. Don't you have any interesting pictures of Brazilian beach babes or something?

Well, I am short on the pictures of underdressed people on our beaches... But maybe other rose-golded Omegas or red star Omegas which were made for the brazilian market will excite people here! 馃榿

" Red Star " Omegas were not only made for the Brazilian Market. Many come from South America, but the red star was a marketing gimmick from Omega. Kind regards. achim

Very nice. Not only is that rose gold capped case very nice, but I can assure you that particular type and color combination of two-tone dial from Omegas of that vintage is hard to find in such good condition. I've found only one photo of one in absolutely pristine mint condition, with the original box no less (not for sale), but yours isn't too far off.
