Opinion on purchase

I just purchased this Constellation after wanting one for years and searching for the last few months. After consulting some one online that is knowledgeable on Omegas I decided to pull the trigger. I was apprehensive on purchasing from a foreign seller so I concentrated on US based sellers. I found this watch from a jeweler in Ma. I also have owned a Seamster 300m since the 90s .I am new to vintage Omegas but tried to research them as much as I could before purchasing. There is a lot of information out there that confuses more than confirms sometimes. I wanted know about the dial condition , crown originality and the crystal magnified date originality . Any information would be appreciated . Thank you

Date magnifier was an option.
Some evidence of rotor rub against the case back and a slightly wonky star but that’s about it.
Nice clean pie pan dial with onyx inserts, good case, nice hands, correct crown and a 564 movement ... doesn’t get much better! Oh and BOR bracelet.
Congratulations.

Dial and case both look good and that’s most of the value.

Looks great. Be sure not to polish the case at all if you want to maintain the value. On the next service you can have the case sonically cleaned, with no abrasion, which will really make it shine while maintaining the originality.
