Hi folks,
this is a freshly won Tissot Seastar Chrono with Lemania 1277 from 1969.
The watch looks good to me but I'm not familiar with this sort of timepieces.
Remarks would be very much appreciated.
(Marks on the bezel might be wear or just reflections??)
Cheers!

It looks nice and un-molested. The edges are really sharp and straight brushing was definitely a Tissot thing. The Lemania 127x movements are really strong and they share much of their design/parts with the 1873 which is what Omega used as the 861.馃憤

thanks for your comments.
What do you think should be the right strap?

I don't know what the original one would have been - probably a steel bracelet - but in my opinion, the lizard is too delicate for those "chunky" hands. Perhaps a large scale alligator would look better.

Agreed.

you could also go with a traditional chrono strap (chrono staps don't taper - like the one below).

I recently grabbed a really nice blue chrono strap for like 18 bucks which would look really sweet on your watch. I'll see if I find the seller...

as for original: I think seastars came with GF's (Guy Freres) but you might wind up spending more on the bracelet than the watch if you start looking?

What about this one?
I have a Tissot sonorous alarm with one(original) of the same kind.

That works.馃憤
