Opening case back with ball...

Any kids?

I thought the same thing.

My balls work about half the time.
I manually blow them then squeeze to a small surface area and press firmly to the back and twist.
Side note: my balls get dirty. Use rubbing alcohol and a clean rag. This creates a very tacky surface....to my balls.

I used rubbing alcohol to clean my dirty balls once, not a good idea. Regular soap an water from now on.

Thought I would update, I got brave and carefully tried out the ball, it worked for one of my seamasters but not the other. so I was pretty pleased with the 50% success rate and got some photo's of the movement I was after!
This Kong dog toy will get the other one open. I'd get it in the medium size, and as Archer said, everything should be clean. Works much better than a ball for me, and no inflation uncertainty.

Just a tip with the Kong toy. They're heavily coated with a silicone mould release agent which is very slippery.
Give the base a good clean with something like isopropyl alcohol to remove the slippery stuff.

Here you can see the upper shiny part that still has the release agent residue and the bottom part where I've cleaned it off.

Ok ok. You use alcohol to clean your toys and I use it on my balls.

Including the dog slobber.

I love this as another solution! I will grab one next time I am at the pet store! I had success with the ball again last night, I inflated it a bit more and then it worked a treat on the second watch! Now I can get onto requesting an extract of archive, then to get it serviced....then to wear and enjoy 😀
