Not a 352 with that dial - all the 352s and the many of the 354s had the word "OMEGA" printed on the dial unlike in this dial.

Kyle will tell you shortly that the 50x were seen in screwback cases also (Case ref. 2887).

Mike beat me to it, but there were some 50xs in the more uncommon 2887s. Haven't seen a 2887 with that dial though, but it could be correct if it's a 2887.

Ok, I'm still pretty new to this so picking stuff up all the time!

I was going from the info on Desmond's site and it looks as if the only other case apart from 2652 that seemed to match the lugs was the 2852 but that was a snap back.

I did notice some 50x with similar dials but the 12 and 6 marker were smaller and did not protrude into the minute ring like on this one. The only watches I could find that were almost exactly the same were some early Seamasters so I thought it may be a 352.

At least I don't feel so badly about missing it now.

Thanks.

Cal. 352 came in only 2 case references - snapback 2648 which was close to the big centenary (ref. 2500) in case design and screwback 2652. Cal. 354 was also seen in both case references so unless you have movement pictures, one cannot assume it is a 352 inside. And to emphasize these were different case designs in bezel, lugs etc beyond just the fact one was snapback and the other screwback.

I would actually prefer the black dial with silver text and silver markers - I think harder to find than their gold counterparts.

Yes, with the silver markers as well. Now that's a beautiful watch..

So that reminds me of something I wanted to post.
I don't own a Connie yet. Was following one and forgot
about the auction end.(not the first time or last, doesn't that p u off?)
Anyway here's the one I was following, so if someone on the forum bought
it and wants to move it at some point, I would be interested. Sold in
like November 2852 Rose Gold. Love this dial. And the case is to die for.
Or if someone see's a similar one for sale. Or a 2652 with similar
layout. -

Think I remember that one..🥰 the markers with pink gold..

Yes I understand Mike. The case looked like a 2652 to me from the lugs and design of the screw in back, that's why I thought it could be a 352 or 354. Now I know there is a 2887 with very similar lugs and back I will also think 50x!
