Hi, lots of boy‘s watches here so I thought why not post this one for fun. I gave it to my better half few years ago for Christmas, got it from an auction. She didn’t even understand it’s something special beyond „oh, golden watch“ (okay, maybe it isn’t even special for normal people aka non enthusiasts .. ). Anyways, her mother then looked at it and said: wow, an Omega! That’s an Omega! I never did any research on it to be honest. She likes to wear it and that was enough for me so far .. so here it is:
Nice watch. I recently got my wife a gold plated Ladymatic from a fellow member. It needs a service and a very small gold plated bracelet. The original Omega strap is too big for her wrist.
The ladies Omega’s are a steal, and if your other half likes smaller watches and digs history- it’s a great way to bring them into the fold. Every occasion I can, I buy another vintage watch for her- on special occasions, it’s an Omega. She jokes that if I get one she has to get one..and someday we will have matching Seamaster’s and a Connie’s...were actually getting there.
