5%, but the dealer didn’t know if it was on all models.

Looks like Omega bets on pound staying cheap in the foreseeable future.

When their mainstream watches are routinely discounted up to 20% at Greys this seems a "head in the sand move"

The Veblen Goods theory only works effectively in an undersupply environment.

Rolex is Rolex, a strange price bubble phenomenon, Omega will not be able to replicate that as it does not have enough classics.

Be interesting to see if the US is affected, glad I pulled the trigger on a 210.30.42.20.03.001 Blue 300M last week, lots of time I've gotten interested and by the time I act, the price has risen, not this time. Hopefully anyone on the brink of indecision will at least find what they want in stock at current prices.

Pretty sure they're just compensating for exchange rates changing...

The same news is in India too. They are increasing prices from October first and its rumored to be around 10% plus increase. Perhaps India along with the UK is cheaper than the rest of the world for Swiss watches at the moment.

Vintage will appreciate as it already has absorbed its initial depreciation. The problem in the long term is will the millenials children want a blob of antiquity on their wrist ?

Just talked to a representative in the Regent Street Boutique. 5% price increase on the 1st October and on all models unfortunately.
