To answer the OP its a 2998-1 or 2 if the insides match the outsides. Its possible its a 2915-3 but it is unlikely. But possible.
These photos are not very helpful and to be honest the op has to accept that if you come here and give such terrible photos of such a potentially interesting watch then you are going to get a bit of ribbing, and implying it cannot be a relume because it was bought in 1984 is a comedy gift I could not pass.
The lume on the hands and dial are quite matchy-matchy and a red flag - all I am saying it needs a decent photo so we can see.
That has not yet materialised. These photos are bad.
In the absence of decent photos certain juvenile members in this group with too much time on their hands will resort to making fun. (That will be me).
As for taking photos, put it in daylight and get an iPhone. Just stop any passing child, it will have one.
I did just that, grabbed my daughters Iphone, the nearest 2998 and snapped this in daylight - no equipment. It took 2 minutes. You can see all you need to see....
If you want to have free access to the wonderful and multiple source knowledge on this forum, it doesnt take much, just take the time and the trouble to give some informative photos - and say why you want it.
Or be prepared to be teased a little, especially if you ask for advice and then give ridiculous reasons why members have to be wrong.
Welcome to the forum - don't be scared off.
We love the watch we just get frustrated at bad photos, which since 2010 is inexcusable.
