·For sale is my best friend's white gold bezel'd speedy moon phase:
https://www.omegawatches.com/en-us/watch-omega-speedmaster-moon-phase-35752000
The watch was originally purchased in 2001, and he acquired it in 2019 as a career milestone gift for himself. It was worn in rotation very sparingly once or twice a month. The watch is for sale because it does not get the wrist time it used to and he is interested in picking up a 41mm Aqua Terra to replace it.
Service history is unknown, the chronograph, moonphase and timekeeping functions all function properly. There is a minor issue with the date wheel, on the 18th of every month, the date hand becomes “stuck” and will not advance on its own. This can be corrected by manually advancing the date wheel with the buttons on the side of the watch. These buttons function properly, and are great for syncing with the phase of the moon, and date of the month.
Condition is "good", no major scratches, there are expected desk diving marks with no deep scratches or defects. The white gold bezel is in excellent condition with thick, clear paint. There are some small scratches on the back of the lugs where the springbars are from strap swaps. The pictures accurately describe the condition, but please reach out if you'd like any more specific photos or detail.
Included is:
The watch, white outer box, wooden display box, operation manual, warranty card, extra links and additional brown leather strap from B&R Bands (https://www.bandrbands.com/bourbon-horween-shell-cordovan-classic-vintage-watch-band.aspx). I am unsure if this watch came with a "pusher" to advance the date and moon phase buttons, but if there is a pusher he never had one and one is not included.
The watch is located in Kalamazoo, Michigan and accepted payment method is PayPal goods and services. Included in the price is insured shipping, we can split the PayPal fees. Asking $4,200 USD shipped. The only trade that will be considered is a 41mm Aqua Terra blue dial ideally with the light blue indices.
