Nactex you don't know the details and anything you've tried to conjure up here is based on assumptions. What is clear here and not based on assumptions is that your main concern is your own gain, not the love of a brand and that is the kind of person you are. Now if you don't want to help and you don't, you made that evident when you tried to dismantle my watch, then just go away. You took a perfectly good and informative post and turned it into a $h!t show.

Gentlemen,

I'm so sorry you were dragged through this. At the very least I hope you were entertained. I do plan on bringing my Speedmaster back to its original grandeur any additional insight would be greatly appreciated. As previously requested, any information regarding a knowledgeable and honest watchmaker near NY would be helpful. Ideally one with case restoration experience since someone here mentioned I may require it...
