Hey Hans

That thing looks less worn than your beauty 😁

Did you see it yet? Any pics to share?

Hi,

does anyone see a detail that should make me nervous?
Price is around 30k, no box or papers, watch only.

BR and thanks,
Hans

By no means an expert, but nothing jumps out at me except the bracelet: it looks full length???

I think it looks nice

I wonder if this one has some rounding along the edges of the lug apex? Might have been polished a bit in the past. I can’t see the hallmark stamp under the 11 o’clock lug very well. Is it sharp or rounded along the margins?

Well,

yes, I think it was polished several times, but not very heavy!?!
I am waiting to get the number from the movement for further checkup.

The shop offering this piece said that Omega was not able to generate an Extract of the Archive - that geneates some worries for me... Can that be true? On such a special Watch?

That would generate a concern for me. But they (the seller) may have misread the serial number / made a silly mistake in the application. I feel sure a watch like this would have an archive record. If one was lost they would all be lost….

Looks like an oval O dial and a very good DON, combined with a rather full length bracelet and a case that appears to be in reasonable shape. To my eyes, this is the most attractive BA 145.022-69 version in a good and wearable condition. At the price you've mentioned, I would seriously consider it as the perfect wearable BA...

If you spend 30k on this polished watch, you should at least get the extract of the archives before buying it.

30K is a good deal , now you need the EoA that state the BA model only but this is the
Minimum without 20K

I would definitely make sure it could get an extract. I don’t think any BA would be without one.

Also a little too polished I think.

Well,
The shop offering this piece said that Omega was not able to generate an Extract of the Archive - that geneates some worries for me... Can that be true? On such a special Watch?

Does this mean that the shop provided everything to Omega Archives that they needed to in order for Archives to complete the extract, or does this mean that the shop is not interested in spending the time or $ to complete an extract & is assuming that another buyer will eventually arrive to take the watch at the same asking price?

If Omega truly can't find a record in the archives, then (to me, at least) that makes this piece less valuable. But, not real clear on what Omega's position is on this watch, only the shop's characterisation of Omega's position...

Not sure why an extract is required for this one. Correct later caseback which is inline with the number. 30k seems very fair in todays market based on the Hoodinkee sale that carried lots of questions.

This seems to be a no questions piece in decent wearable condition at a dare I say below market price.

The only thing an extract would do is verify that the movement is the one that it shipped with... This is not a later BA modified with spare parts as denoted by the correct caseback and wide oval OM dial.
