It is....so tying up money on a watch I won’t want makes no sense.
Showstopper for me that is why I bailed as well.

...is two-tone confirmed? Yikes. Just put my deposit down because I figured there was no way they could screw this up, but if it really is TT, it certainly seems like they're trying to...

Easy solution to allay your anxiety, and wrong decision on your part, call your dealer or boutique today and have them rescind the sale and credit your card, problem solved. And it frees up that watch for another collector. Win-win, and you'll sleep better, too.

Indeed, at this pace the sordid story of Omega's 50th Anniversary Speedmaster will show up as an episode on next year's 'American Greed' narrated by Stacy Keach. Imagine, Omega scamming the public by issuing a two-tone Speedmaster. What a fraud and a ripoff!

What are you even talking about?!? The deposits are FULLY refundable, so I am not sure why people are bent out of shape for this?!? 😕👎
If one does not like the watch once it is revealed, ask for your money back and voila, done. No scam, no greed, no evil Omega conspiracy theory!

No idea how many people will not want this TT LE, but I think that at least 6969 folks - other than me - will want it.

I’m dubbing it the 50th Speedex or Submaster

The first manual wind Speedmaster in Rolex Sub price range.....

Well at least there are some folks interested in it....

Ref the Speedy 50th's bezel I can reveal that to avoid possible alcohol related consumption issues, Omega were going to call the gold bezel "moonlighting gold".

At the last minute the Omega board opted for "moonshine" as they were worried that with the "moonlight" option they would have to re-shoot the Speedy launch/press photos with soft focus blurring.

They were also worried that the "moonlight" bezel might also have to carry a health warning on the back: "any contact with the bezel could lead to hair loss and the development of a constant smirk."...

So I can finally and exclusively reveal here on the OF (from my sources at Bienne) that that the dial outer inscription will state: "grey market qualified for AD/distributor dumping from altitude".

Too many compliance and governance issues these days, luxury watch corporations have no fun 🙄

What’s all the fuzz about the TT Speedy when no one has ever seen it yet or pictures has been released?
I’m also concerned about TT, but will not make a hard statement before I have seen it. Maybe it’s really beautiful?

Greetings from Norway.

Not the most imaginative tread pattern on the boots. I thought it may have had Nike Air on or Adidas. But it just says made in the USSR on the bottom left hard to see thou.

Omega boutique rep confirmed footprint will be on back of watch. Perhaps moonshine gold?
