·There are already like 10 on C24, big range of asking prices!
I have been thinking about this watch a bit lately and while it is stunning in its own right (and meets the Omega team's evident goals of making a direct homage to the 1969 version...)... I still feel that Omega missed an opportunity to come up with something new and unique.
The possibilities are limit-less so why go for a 1:1 reproduction? Why murky the waters of the original model? Why not come up with a different bezel color (at least) or something more innovative like moon texture as seen on the Apollo 8?
Again, the 2019 version is great and well done... but nothing new under the sun...
Looks like these pieces are either with collectors or famous people
Well, I am by no means famous... and hope to never be. 😉
As far as being a collector, may be, but given the amazing company of enthusiasts on this community with truly "out of this world collections"... I would consider myself to be a very humble one. 👍
I’ve been told they haven’t really hit the US OBs yet and no, basically no chance of getting one in the US at this point as there is a wait lost longer than the number allocated here to begin with.
If the wait list is so long? Why are there so many on Chrono24 at discount already?
