Marketer here - this helps "build/maintain the brand" by calling out how special certain products are, even if they're not available for sale

I mean, watches aren't the only industry to do this :) -See: concept cars, Limited Edition shoes, etc.

Yes that's true, but we are in a watch forum. The brand I mean is currently limiting all the SS sport watches which are actually not limited....:whistling:
    But that's another topic:)

I thought that the SS Sport Watches were available but in extremely small quantities, spread very thinly across the planet, but just not in an AD near you or me. :)

You are right. I'm sure there are some of this watches somewhere available. I'm just wondering that, for example, Bucherer Switzerland has stoped to put anyone on the waiting list since last week. So I'm happy to love and collect Omega.....You want one...you get one...that's great

Well we could argue that one but you're correct. We are in a watch forum but not in the right section for it. I think the truth about the big R's SS models is somewhere in-between the conniving evil plans most assume and the production limitations they claim.

Back on topic - this is a gold watch I could see myself actually wear (aside from affording it).

Anyone know of Apollo 11 Moonshine available with an EU AD or OB?

I've been told that I'm getting one of of these. It is coming to me from an Omega AD in the UK (not a Boutique). I've been talking to them for the past few years about this anniversary and the constant supply of emails to the owner formed the basis of his application to Omega for my allocation. I stand to be corrected, but I reckon this is no chance of getting one of these allocated now and I've not heard of any coming up for sale yet. As of today, I've seen a few stainless pieces for sale on the grey market (5 on Chrono24 yesterday evening).

I think someone wrote on here somewhere that there was a gold one available in Germany somewhere. But other than someone turning one down at an AD/OB I suspect you are right in that there’s very little chance of obtaining one.

Grey market will be an option, but they will be rare and have a hefty premium I expect.

In the US, I know the official wait list has been closed for some time now.

My AD informed me today that they would be getting one ST 2 Ultraman by this month-end from Switzerland! Nowadays we don’t know when another watch is available with the brand.

I question the availability of these watches. They usually are using stock photos and delivery isn't immediate. Only one of the SS models actually had photos showing it was in possession of the seller. As always, use caution when buying a hot, new item.

They are both ads from the same retailer. None of them will post pictures where you could only guess where the watch was delivered. Trusted checkout secures the purchase.
