Wow! That's a real beauty. Now let's see how "fast" it flies off the shelf at such an asking price...

It‘s probably the crystal but the outer seconds track looks funky

Very nice watch but the prices in shops like hodinkee or b & s are always exaggerated 👎

Tough crowd.
I don’t think it’s expensive.
It all depends on the details.
How brown it actually is etc.

I think I’ll go put my Moonwatch out in the sun. I’ll be right back... .

Photos for posterity

I like it. But, I’d have to see it. Particularly regarding the dial color.

Dial lumes aren't intact but not mentioned anywhere?

To qualify for purchase they are first considering previous buyers of the travel clock. 😁

To the experts: Is that what the lume would look like if someone tried to brush off the dark, mossy top surface?

My 2998-6

My 105.002-62

Another -62

Of course, the 2998-1 should be radium, right?

Wow! Nice catch!

I’d have preferred the watch before they prepped it. It looked more interesting.

Either way I think parts of the dial lumes have indeed flaked off or been removed since it first showed up. What bugs me is, in their article they insist on bringing more transparency to the vintage watch market, through a reputable team. Well they did disclose the hand lumes touch-up. But somehow they've left out the dial lumes.

Considering the lollipop has been licked, would we consider the one up for sale at Phillips to be in superior condition, or are there questions about that watch too... never could figure out what the consensus was in the thread pertaining to this watch...see image below
