From my personal collection, bought about 10 years ago, a superb and very original one previous owner Speedmaster 145.012-67 complete with original box, an extract from Omegas Archive and recent service by vintage Omega specialist STS.
Completely original right down to the old logo crystal and flat foot crown, just as found. Only the movement has had a complete overhaul.

Case: Very rare to find in this condition, this is a true unpolished example, with a super sharp case. Watches are often described as unpolished when they have in fact had a quality refinish, or if they are unpolished then the case inevitably has some wear, but this is not only untouched by a polishing wheel but the case also has virtually no wear. There are light lines and marks visible on some surfaces which could easily be removed but I instructed STS to ultrasonically clean the case only. The crown is the original flat-foot logo 1960's one and the crystal also is the old logo original one, the crystal has had marks buffed out but a few light ones remain. DON bezel is very nice, it has been touched up in a couple of places were there were small areas of missing paint, the touch up is only visible at certain angles under magnification. Looks great in the flesh. The Case back has a nice clear and deeply engraved Hippocampus, not surprising since the watch was hardly worn by the original owner.

Dial: Spectacular! Both condition and patina are as good as it gets and it really 'pops' in the flesh. Original and unrestored. See photo of it outside the case prior to service.

Hands: Correct and original, earlier and more desirable drop counterweight tail type. Nice coloured lume, looks original to me, but it does glow slightly more than the dial so I cannot discount a relume in the past.

Bracelet: Original 1039 flat-link bracelet with 516 ends. STS replaced a couple of springs. It is nearly full length with 9 spring links and 16 solid links.

Movement: Original cal 321 (OXG) movement in very nice condition and now completely rebuilt and serviced by specialists STS.

Paperwork: Recent Extract from Omegas Archive indicating a production date of 1968 and proving that the movement is correct and original to the case; Service paperwork from STS along with guarantee until 27/02/2018.

Accessories: Original red box and red Omega service box.

Why am I selling? Well I wish I wasn't selling this one, its rare to find any Speedmaster with a dial and case this good, however I am buying a new (old) glider and need to pay for it asap. I will be selling another couple of watches from my long-term collection for the same reason.

Price - I don't need to be greedy here as I've been collecting for many years, but this is an exceptionally fine example imho. I'm going to price it below the value given in Sp101 which is demonstrated sales between collectors (so well below retail price.) Remember the 101 price guide is for watch head only.
So £7750 GBP (at todays rate that's aprox $9650) for everything except the bracelet (I can provide a choice of leather straps included at that price), or £8800 (aprox $10950 at todays rate) including the bracelet and ends. It would be nicer to keep it all together.
I have many selling ref's here and over 10K on ebay.
UK postage is free, Overseas delivery will be at cost and will need to be insured by the buyer via ParcelPro or similar.
Please do ask any questions prior to buying. Thank you.

The only thing that would make this watch better would be sharks with fricken laser beams!

Good luck Ash!

The whole watch condition is in such a mintness! Man for this piece, it's better to spend my $$ on this than the 60th anniversary speedy!

Currently on hold pending funds. Had about ten offers to buy already. Thank you to everyone who has taken an interest and to OF for facilitating.
Military issued Seamaster 300 in original (i.e. rough!) condition, with a great history coming up for sale in the next few days....
Cheers.

I confess. This one made me reconsider my position about the craziness of vintage Speedies and briefly forced me into looking at my bank/ivestment accounts to find a solution to fund this one....thanks to the buyer for moving much quicker than me... after this one I know is just a matter of time before I succumb (thanks gezus not many like this come around!) ....
