On hold...?

But a Swedish watch - always cool.....

But the dial.....

Exactly. The dial. Is it worth it for the price? Or dealbreaker for some?

It's not on hold anymore. The seller received this exact watch from Windvantage in a trade and selling it now.

Are those oil stains or touch ups? Dial condition and aesthetics is the #1 most important factor for me personally and this dial would be a big problem for many collectors. Hands and pushers are later service parts.

A flawed watch will always be a flawed watch. Save up a bit more and buy the right one.

The dial is a deal breaker for most. Also the pushers (and maybe the crown) are service.

I can only agree with the previous answers regarding the condition of the watch.
The case is nice, but the case back looks very soft....
It is up to you if you can live with the dial, and like it even after a few years?

I took another look at the watch, and there are more stuff on the dial...

Maybe take your time, and also look here at the private watch sales?

Thank you all for your quick replies. After seeing an amazing example of a 105.012-66 from hansaboy, I totally understand why you and other OF members say to have a little patience in waiting for the right one. In a couple years I might be dissatisfied at the condition of this dial and begin my search again for better example.

Actually, funny story, I had already began my wire transfer to the seller, when my bank flagged it as fraud. I trust the seller (not Windvintage), but my bank wanted to make sure. As we were waiting for it to clear, I happened to be impatient and post on this forum for some confirmation on my possible purchase. Glad you were able to respond so quickly regarding the dial stains, service pushers, and service hands. I was able to cancel the wire transfer and told the seller I needed a few more days to think about this. There are many other examples that I would rather have on my wrist and what I want to spend a little more for. Thanks!
