Hello dear members of OF!

I have a question about an Omega seamaster de ville that I received for Christmas. I really love the watch and I’m really enjoying it. I’m pretty sure the dial and everything is original apart of the crown and crystal (even If I didn’t opened the caseback because i don’t have the tools). Also IMO the case is pretty sharp and the dial is in excellent condition. Although I was wondering if it is normal that the 6’ hour marker seems a bit misaligned? Do you think it left factory like this ?

I am interested in knowing your opinions! 👍

Thanks for the help!

Looks fine to me. I would be more worried about the incorrect service crown than that small misalignment. Stuff like that occasionally happens on modern Omegas with applied indices too.

Maybe what's throwing you off is the "S" and "M" on Swiss Made. You expect it to be centered over that gap?

hehe, I just said S and M

6 hour marker is microscopical shifted to the right, or the minute printing is a hair off.

You’d never notice it unless you looked at it under a loupe.

Thanks for your replies! Now that I am looking closely at a certain angle every marker looks misaligned. I think it’s just the distortion of the plexi + I have ocd with my watches.
Sorry for it guys :whipped:

Actually it would be a great idea to find the correct crown. By any chance do someone know what would be the correct reference and if it is hard to find?

Plexi distortion is part of the charm with older watches. I have a sapphire Airking and I actually can’t stand seeing that dial under that flat piece of glass- sooo flat.
