Hi all I have been offered this watch full set
For around 2k which I think is a pretty good price however it seems that the ring under the bezel looks misaligned is there a simple fix for this or am I just seeing things ?

Especially noticeable at 12 and at the crown

Ahh this post is about a watch.........I actually knew a bloke called Peter Blake, I always suspected his ring might've been a bit misaligned because he preferred it that way! 😲😁
Ring = Aussie slang for arsehole

I’ve never had my Peter Blake serviced since I bought it in 2007
Still watertight and perfect time
Is getting serviced a bluff

A 17 yo watch will be watertight until it isn't. How's your luck?

Nah That little bit of water won't hurt much....better to wait until it gets some orange crunchy bits and a heap of green furry stuff growing in there!

I think what Archer and Callahan are trying to say is " go have your watch serviced" 😉

Having the triangle not aligned is quite often flaw. Pull the bezel from the case and press out the bezel insert. Press back the bezel on the case, give it some turn to seat properly, align the insert in the bezel, so it points directly to 12 index and press in the bezel insert. Done.

Pull the bezel from the case, using the correct tool or you will bend it. Press out the aluminium insert with out bending or breaking that. Use some kind of solvent or heat to loosen it , depending on what type of glue the last "watchmaker" used to fasten it in-correctly. Use the correct press to re mount the bezel back on to the case, after cleaning it and changing worn out springs, without bending it even moore. Align the insert in the bezel and use the correct glue to secure it in the correct position.

Or just go to your watchmaker. Done

You are trying to send watchmaker to watchmaker? 😀 Funny ....
.... the bezel insert is not fixed by any glue...I mean original insert. Glued are usually aftermarket inserts... the original is held by friction, no glue at all...

I am glad I could amuse you, and maybe prevent someone from following your "watchmaking" tips.

@napalmsunrise dont mention anything about being a watchmaker and thats probably why you gave him this questionable advise.

How do you know this example dont have any glue?
