Hello! Can anyone tell me if the 1380/237 mesh sizes well for a 6.5" wrist? I have a 2254.50 Seamaster that is in between sizing on the factory 930 Speedy bracelet and would love to try the mesh on it. My fear is that the mesh doesn't have enough adjustability for smaller wrists? I've seen some 'cut' a row of links but I'm not sure I'm keen to that. Thanks

Oh wow - so you can still 'tighten' it three more micro settings worth? How do people with larger (normal) wrists wear this bracelet!?

There is an extension available, there is definitely a picture of that somewhere here 😉

As long as I can properly fit this mesh to my 6.5" wrist without the extension AND not needing to 'cut' a row of mesh....I'd be a happy camper!

As std it is sized very small. My wrist is around 7.2” and I am nearly in need of the extension as I am on the last hole. I would think it would go down 3/4” from there without too much trouble using the clasp adjustment. The extension adds an inch so with it fitted you have -7.25-8” covered. Any bigger than that, maybe 2 extensions are needed?

Ok that is great to know! I think this will fit great based off what I've been reading.

Now to find one for sale! 😀

I had to cut it in order for it to fit the SM300. 6.5” wrist.

Since you asked so nicely, I suppose I should post this photo. This is what the extension looked like. My father bought the watch, a bumper, when automatic watches were a kinda new thing, in May 1947 from Myers of Leeds. I have the original receipt somewhere.

I have no idea how the mesh is taken apart to insert an extension!

And now I'm second guessing everything I've seen...LOL. Oh well, worst case - I'll cut out a row of links. If it fits within one of the micro adjustment holes as is, win win!

Interesting, but this is what the current extension for the 1380 bracelet looks like. There are 2 shown here.

Is anyone sitting on one of these bracelets they don't use? I'd be glad to take it off your hands! 😀

That's a quite standard shark-mesh from WATCH GECKO. I bought pre-brexit times so did not pay any extras on import in Poland, don't know where you are from and how it would work nowadays. I must admit - their bracelets & straps are top quality and reasonably priced.

I have been looking to put one of these 1380/237 mesh bracelets on a 2254.50 Seamaster. Does anyone know what the upper limit on sizing is on this combination? I'm sitting on wrist size of anywhere from 7-1/4" to 7-3/8" depending on the weather.
