1380/237 is the bracelet if you wanna call omega for a price or search online. I don't know the weight but they aren't terribly heavy yet they aren't so light they feel cheap. I think its very comfortable but thats me.

Great thank you for your response and suppling the part number.

The thing about the shark mesh that might catch out the unwary who may be used to a regular SM deploymant bracelet is the seat belt clasp. These are a little fiddly to clasp and unclasp and there is potential there to drop the watch while you fiddle with it. I love the Shark mesh but do take care, there is definitely more chance of operator error with it than with the std design.

Last time I asked, these are still available for order at a boutique or AD and the price there seemed pretty reasonable vs other online channels.

Mesh bracelet from Watch Gecko tried on two different models. I wear it on SMP only anyway.

Thanks for sharing the pics with the SMP. Slight gap between the case and the lugs but still looks good I think. I will ask if Omega boutique can order one for me then put it on my watch for me to try on 😉 that’s awesome. Great, timely, genuine responses on this forum. Everyone’s been so helpful on here. Thanks again.

I have two of these, with BOTH of the “seatbelt” buckles somehow busted/sprung. (It’s as though the internal spring got reversed, and wants to keep the buckle open rather than closed.)

Anyone else had this issue, or have a solution?

I’d love to use them, but have been too dumb to fix

Between the rubber and the mesh, I prefer the mesh. I think it contributes to the overall ruggedness of the watch. However, I don't know if there's a benefit one way or the other for those who use it as a tool watch.

Coming up to 12 months now & I’ve still not had the rubber strap on.
I love the mesh & oh so comfortable, I don’t know about the steel version but titanium is fantastically wearable.

Received the shark mesh strap from StrapCODE and its junk. No way it will support the weight of a Seamaster. However I have ordered a shark mesh from StrapCO, and it should be showing up soon. I will post again for a update regarding the StrapCO version.

I wouldn't say its junk but rather up to par with the price its offered at. I had one and a genuine Sharkmesh at the same time and as I stated earlier on this thread its built damn close but with lighter weight mesh. Using calipers the links all measure very close to genuine. The steel used is just lighter. I did swap out the clasp for their seat belt style which made a big difference in quality.

My SM300 on genuine mesh says hello on this cold work day.

I agree, hence me owning a genuine bracelet. The strapcode was purchased after owning a genuine and was for a non omega watch cause my OCD doesn't like mixing brands haha.

They really need to come out with a 21mm mesh for the Seamaster 300 and newer 9300 Speedmasters. In SS and Ti like the 2015 PloProf:

Yes! Definitley! 21mm mesh & rubber strap options for Omega Seamaster 300s. I have resorted to an after market version mesh, which is nice but not Omega & difficult to find.

The StrapCO is much improved over the strapcode.

Original SM300 on Gekota mesh.
This is the brushed version. I prefer and recommend the polished version, having said that it is now on a Forstner flatlink !

Wonderful. How do you like the Gekota clasp?
I'm not familiar with it.
