Omega Seamaster with tilted dial a fake?

Hi,

I recently bought this vintage omega seamaster because i found it a very curious piece. It has a dial that's tilted by around 45° and I'm just wondering if this is a real model that omega actually made or just some watchmaker that had some fun.
Cheers,

Max

(Piece is 28mm, if that helps)

Looks like broken dial feet to me. Not sure if you have it yet, but if not, you may find that the dial spins when you get it.

Hi and thanks for the reply!
The dial doesnt spin when i wear/carry it around, although it could of course be that it's just fixed in place like that.

In your second picture, I don’t see any case clamps (hold the movement in the case). And it looks to me as though the entire movement has turned in the case. If the dial feet were broken, allowing the dial to turn, the numeral in the calendar window would not line up as it does in your first picture. When you pull outward on the winding crown, does it pull away from the case?

Hi,
Yes, it does pull away from the case and works like it normally should on every watch. In the second picture you can see that the crown is connected to the movement. Winding and setting the time all works.

That was my first thought as well. Seen that a lot on beat up watches that were missing the stem and crown. This looks like someone assembled it with broken dial feet and just hoped for the best and failed. Could be just coincidence the date window ended up aligned with the wheel.
