Hi everyone, I am new in this forum and I would like to ask your opinion regarding an Omega Seamaster Ref. 13489 Cal. 289 that I found on a popular ecommerce (photos attached).

Do you think is it a watch with original components, or at least of the same period? What is its average market price (Europe customers)? Are there other variants with Arabic numerals? If so, could you share their respective references?

Thank you for your support!

The case is very polished, the lugs should have preserved caselines but instead look like smoothed down soap bars. Here is an example of a vintage Seamaster with preserved caselines for comparison.
It would be nice if photos of dial are available with hands off the text to further evaluate dial originality. Also caseback and inside photos of movement and inside caseback would be important to assess the watch

Got it, I have just uploaded additional photos of the watch.

Thanks for the feedback, I would really appreciate further consideration about this nice Omega vintage so that I can buy it with greater awareness!

Just my two cents as a quick response to your good idea above…
If you compare the case of the watch you’re thinking of buying with the other pictures shown here, I guess you’ll be sufficiently aware that the best buying decision is not to buy it at all.

Just continue the hunt for a better preserved one. Enjoy the process!

What is cal 289? I have never even heard of that movement. For that matter, I'm not familiar with ref 13489 either.
