I’m also interested to learn the price. My guess it will sit below AT.

Apparently rrp is €5,100 about £4,500

I’d go for the yellow and then add a black strap with yellow stitch.

Nice industrial design, something between Braun and Junghans and for a 250 what$ever quartz watch sold a a small town jeweler.
But for 5000 what$ever? I know it has the new rocket science movement. But price and habitus do not converge.
They will find their buyers however - except the green and the red one. Those will be dusted off in the boutiques until 2032.

I would not mind getting the red reference and putting the black strap on it.

I think pieces like this would be fantastic as an exclusive promotion given to Olympic competitors. Would be cheerful. As far as for general sale. I dunno...they are kind of toy'ish looking to me for this price range. I do like the backs though, smart and fitting such a world event.

Not going to be going down as classics methinks. That said, better than the Commander’s Watch last year.

I may be in the minority, but those wrist shots make them look worse to me. I’m not a fan.

I thought the "yellow" looks better live and the black worse. They don't really appeal to me either...the design aesthetic of the dial is too "Swatch watch" for me...but perhaps I am getting too old to appreciate this sort of design😀.

I can see them appealing to the younger crowd - a group that I left many years ago.

Interesting that they actually used the same case from their edizione venezia release...

I actually quite like that reveal caseback, but I'd honestly rather get the venice piece because the case just feels way too dressy for something that's supposed to be this sporty.

I wonder if you can buy the straps separately, the black one might look nice on the speedytuesday.

That white ring around the dial makes the watch look small.
I'm not very fond of the look.

These are not intended to be a hit for Basel, as the Winter Olympics creep up they want to heavily advertise these wonderful pieces. I know they are listed at 5000 CHF but not sure of what it will be for other markets. These are just the tip of a very big iceberg to come I'm sure.

I was in the OB a month ago. The sales manager showed me the pics of these, as well as the 5 watch set. I was a little intrigued as I like the concept of the Olympic watch, but then he showed me the price, and then I was like why? If I recall correct the price for the 5 watch set (only 25 sets made) was $27,500 USD. If my son was competing in the Olympics, I would NOT buy this watch set. Pretty boring.

I want to see them make an LE like the Gemini 4. It has been 10+ years since they had a LE that really rocked it. Well maybe not entirely true, but given they release an LE about as often as I post on WRUW, I would be willing to post less on WRUW if they stepped up their game on LEs.

I usually don't care about LEs, and I normally wouldn't like an Olympic-branded watch...but I really like the black model. If it came with a screw-down crown, I'd potentially be tempted.

What about black strap and red stitching?

Like the look of these - Black & Blue options are the pick of the bunch for me. Would almost be nice as a normal run rather than LE. I can't see the yellow and green models selling out anytime soon.
