Looks nice enough but would any day take one of the new AT models over this.

It’s also like Omega has forgotten all about releasing the Omega Tresor in stainless steel. HEY OMEGA, get moving!!!

Maybe they wanted to tie into the winter Olympics which starts on February 9th.

For me they evoke the fun of the 60s/70s Dynamics. I sure they'll be hideously expensive at list price so I wouldn't consider buying one, but they're definitely interesting.
First thing I thought of as well. I really like the blue followed by the yellow, but the red may be a real winner in person.

Omega really had a show stopper with the Seamaster 300 Spectre. Most notably the lack of any 007 markings on the dial. I wish they would have learned. I know this is meant to honor the olympics but the rings at 6 o'clock kill me.::facepalm1::

I just added this image to our article. I must admit I like it, especially the yellow one. Very curious about the price.. no official word yet.

The case design and movement are identical to that of the Edicione Venezia, so I would expect the pricing for these particular variants to come out close to CHF 5.000 .

And it means no screw-down crown.

I also have it on some authority that there are additional Cal. 880X-based variants on the Olympic theme yet to be announced. Soon. 😀

The more I look at these the more I like them. My guess is they will be priced above what I would pay for one though 😡

I am not a massive fan of the new AT, I do think this new Seamaster range looks less blingy than the AT and my intuition would be that it would be priced below the AT/Globemaster. Apparently the dial is convex which should be interesting to see live. I also think there might be a non-LE version without the Olympic logo and less "colour".

Ref. the men's Tresor in steel I find that highly unlikely. I believe you are more likely to see something similar to the Editione Venezia in steel.

Edited with update: Jones in LA has spotted that the case for these Oympic Seamasters is based on the Edizione Venezia. Would not be a huge surprise for me to see some non-Olympic variants based on the Venezia dial, perhaps blue or grey/slate sunburst dials.

Which explains the choice of syringe hands.😗

??? The Market tells other stories. You pay a certain surplus if you try to buy a Spectre These days

If the ‘Olympic Brand’ Marketing, & commensurate takeup, runs to historic form…

There will be shed loads of these, languishing on AD shelves, for years to come…

Supplies of ‘London 2012’ seemed to be never ending

I have a mix feeling about these...Something doesn't look right, I think, Omega should've been more creative...

The market shows that the less tie in the better they tend to sell yes. The Spectre with a lack of visible branding is one of the most desired Bond watches, Bond watches with visible 007 markings are not nearly as coveted. Olympic themed watches can often be found new a decade later.

Nothing overly offensive with them. Nice legible simple 3 handed date autos. If I was to be allowed to make alterations, I'd lose the olympic rings at 6 and also the alternating high/low second markers and give them consistent length and positioning. If this watch costs around £2k it will make a nice entry level addition to the Omega range. At above £3.5k to me it disappears from any desirability.

YMMV

I think the fact that the Spectre watch was movie-worn is a large contributing factor to its popularity as well

I really like these. Can't wait to check them out in the boutique

Agreed. I much prefer movie worn watches to made up LE watches.

It would be great if this was positioned in the same way as the Chronostop Geneve for the 68 Olympics - a fun, dynamic, entry into the world of Omega.

The £49.50 price tag would be welcome too 😉
