·I don’t own one..yet. Have tried it on several times at the AD and love it, especially in blue on the rubber. Would be a great companion piece to my Speedmaster. I’m debating between this and a Planet Ocean 2201.50. Is say go for it if you like it!

·Haven't seen one in the wild, I think it's a great looking watch, but I personally wish the wave design was a little more subtle. I prefer the look of the earlier Seamaster pros. I'd still buy one if I could afford it though 😀

·One caught my eye last year in an up market second hand watch dealer's window. I fell in love with it - only a few months old, full set in new condition, at a price well below AD retail. I loved the sculptural look of polished steel curves alongside beautifully brushed steel, the ceramic sharpness of the bezel and dial, and the precision on display everywhere.
However I decided to think about it. A couple of months later I checked out an AD to see what some price negotiation might achieve - and I was glad I did. He offered the watch for $350 less than the price the second hand dealer had asked - around 18% off retail. Of course I bought it, and have not regretted it for a second.
I collect vintage Omegas, but I love this watch.

·I got it after my divorce was final last year and I love it. I bought it on bracelet and picked up the rubber strap with it. I wear it everyday. Easily my favorite diver right now. I know that the submariner might be more prestigious but I think the 8800 movement is a better movement. I also like the look and the color choices offered on this piece.

·I have just ordered the white dial version as think the watch is gorgeous and very good value for money. I have read loads of reviews and they have all been very good but like killer67 says, if you like it you should enjoy it.

·Have had mine for 6 months and absolutely love it. Just make sure you are ok with 42 mm. Truly a special watch.

·I agree with everyone above. I got mine (blue on a bracelet) a couple of months ago and I don't regret it a bit. This is a great watch for all round wear IMO.

·I am still waiting as it takes 1 to 2 weeks to get the white dialled one. I’ve had a few seamaster sat 41mm and I’m currently wearing a tag aquaracer which is 42mm. I’m not keen on bracelets so try to buy rubber strapped watches but do like the seamaster bracelet to wear on odd occasion but more in winter.

·Went to my AD today and tried both of these on.. surprised by just how much I liked the white face in the flesh. Stunning on the wrist.

·Versatile watch you can't go wrong with this one, rubber strap frames it better on the wrist and elevates it. Nato and the bracelet are good too but I think rubber makes it looks wonderful especially on the black.
