As someone fairly new to watches myself. If I may, I would suggest that for watches you are interested in, take some time to write your own critique of them and then post that, along with good photos. The value here is that you will learn a lot more when you go through the critique process yourself first, and your education will be further accelerated by weighing the OF responses to your critique. If you haven't yet done so, read all the sticky threads too. And as many here do, play along with other posts to see what advice you would give before you read the replies. Testing yourself in this way will build knowledge. There is a lot of fake and franken out there, and even if money isn't an obstacle to you, then I would venture that you will enjoy your watches more when you know more about them. I hope you stick around.

Can you point me in the right direction regarding some detailed resources, if I want to learn more about inner workings of movements 5xx and 7xx? 馃槈

Great question. I do not know about a one stop shop on 5xx and 7xx series movements, but it would be interesting to know. The 5xx is highly regarded for sure.
