Hi all,

Looking at pulling the trigger on a Seamaster 300, love the piece. I have smaller wrists and the salesperson of course told me it doesn’t look too big but looking for more objective opinions.

Thank you!

Thank for your feedback, I appreciate your insight. I really love it.
I will say the lugs extend very far, but I'd still wear that if I liked it. It's hard to gauge though, whether you'll be bothered by it and stop wearing it.

Understand. Here’s maybe a more proportional perspective.

It looks good to me. If you like it on your wrist, who cares anyway.

Providing those lugs don’t overhang your wrist you are fine. Looks to be on the limit, but camera phones always hard to judge. For reference I have a 6.5inch wrist, 51mm Lug to Lug (length of the watch is my max). Think Seamasters are almost 50mm.

They’re a dive watch so meant to wear a tad large.

These sorts of wrist shots always make the watch look visually larger than it really is- and in these it looks fine. Take a picture with the watch on, resting against your leg, or hold it up against your shirt and take the picture. That'll give you a better idea of how it actually looks.

But from what I see, it fits your wrist really well.|

Case in point- your "more proportional perspective" looks great (just had to scroll a bit more to see it). I think it fits perfectly for a modern sports watch.

I'm very sorry, but I think it's far too big for your wrist, but I would say that about ninety percent of all users here. Watches shouldn't just sit up like a plate, the bracelets should nestle elegantly around the arm and not just hang down at the sides.

That's just my opinion. You asked for it. But in the end, you should wear what you like.

No problem. I appreciate you taking the time. Thanks!

If you think it's too big then it's too big. If it looks fine to you then it's fine.

Have you taken a look at the Planet Ocean in 39.5mm? Technically the better diver and in my opinion also a much more suitable size for you.
