Hello valuable forum, I'm thinking about buying the watch mentioned above and I can't find much about it on the net. Are there users who own or have tested the watch and who can report on their experiences and maybe have pictures too. What about other Straps on the watch, are there any recommendations?
Thanks in advance.

I can't believe that nobody on this forum owns such a Seamaster and can provide information and photos to the post. Come on

Not that hard to believe—this is a fanatical but small portion of the Omega-wearing/buying community and that’s a very niche watch: enormous, expensive, and a not an aesthetic that many people will like or at least prefer over the more standard stainless options.

Even so, there probably is someone here who can weigh in, but that person might not be online. Operators are not just standing by to respond to new posts.

Yep, the 2 members in the links I posted have not been seen back since March 23rd this year and May '22.

While not ornamented with the Sedna gold, I do have the same sized Seamaster with ceramic and titanium. It’s still one of my favorite watches, probably getting more wear than any of my Speedmasters. I’ve posted on it here:

https://omegaforums.net/threads/observations-on-the-seamaster-pro-ceramic-and-titanium.98623/

Although undeniably large, it never feels out of place on my 7 inch (somewhat flat) wrist, primarily due to the light weight and slimming effect of the black ceramic case. The Sedna will likely be heavier and a bit more showy, so your mileage may vary.

As always, try one on before buying.

Thank you for your answers. it is actually rather exotic among the seamaster models, but that makes it interesting.

I'll drop by omega one of these days and try them on and put on my ploprof for comparison.

until then stay healthy and enjoy the watch hobby.

If you’re used to a ploprof, this might actually feel dainty. 😀

FYI, if you're looking to save about $5000USD (especially if you're in the US), DavidSW---certainly one of the top, most trusted dealers of preowned luxury watches---has this model in stock. Still under factory warranty, full set.

Unless you just have to have it brand new from an AD and you know you'll never sell it, this is a damn good way to go. Gives you an idea, too, of how much these depreciate in value the second you walk out of the store (true of most Omegas): have to assume David bought it from the original owner for 50% of the retail price. Might as well let someone else take that hit! Even if you end up disliking it, you won't lose too much money.
