    Dears,
I want to share with you one of my Omegas in collection.
Usually I show the pictures when I decide to sell something. I know, I have to change my mind and post pics in every moment!
However, This is my 2913-3 FAP. It was delivered February 2 1959 to Perù. The dial is in good conditions considering that is a military watch. It is turning into brown. You can recognize immediately the famous design of broad arrow hands, beautiful. The insert of the bezel is completely restored but not by Aldo.. I don't know how many things saw this watch, but I think it has lot to tale. I'll send other pics soon. ( I think I have to change the glass)
    Hope you like it! IMG_5402.jpg

Killer, my 14755 FAP says hello, delivered in 1962.

Do you have the archives and does it say FAP or just delivered to Peru.

Word on the street is that there were only 10 issued per the Omega Archives...including mine, I know of 6 others, and this one makes 7.

Very interesting...that FAP engraving is different from mine, and the earlier delivery date makes me wonder if they didn't archive the FAP aspect.

    OR

If these early ones were delivered to a retailer in Peru who added the FAP markings...that would make total sense.

When did you get your archive from Omega? I would ask and see if they can put delivered to Peruvian Air Force...if it is in the archives they can add it in there.

I see on the internet that some FAP ( Speedy and Sea) have the small engraving like mine. I received today the extract of the archive. You need some protocol number? Thank you very much :)

Reach out to Omega...ask about the FAP specific information. I asked about mine in my request and it was included in the archive.

The movement # would also help determine whether it falls in range of the other known FAPs no?

You don't need to change the crystal, it can be polished. It will still be the original one.

Now maybe some hardcore collectors will be angry with me, but I still think it's an OK thing to do. Aswell as fix tired hands.

Not on historical important watches of course :)

Well, serial 16338x has been seen on the 2913-3 FAP's, but only on a few. Serial 163346x is seen on almost the rest of the FAP first batch.
Anyway, the OP's extract states production as 2. february 1959, which is dead on for these. Have seen serial 163346x FAP 2913-3 produced on the very same day, so - looks correct to me. Most did come with the lollipop sec hand though. And the caseback engraving is fine IMO.

I did a little caseback guide on the SM300 FAP's in another thread. Where @watchknut 's 14755 was in focus (he's the "OP"). Might be of interest:
