A lot of complaints about the bond era seamaster bezels being difficult to grip..

Yup! I just learned that on this thread! it appears there was a small group of [lucky] Indians (myself one of them) that were extremely fortunate to get the few straight arrows of the 2254.50 bezel production batch! 馃槣

I may be in the minority, but I actually find the scalloped SMP bezel to be as easy to use as the traditional coin edge bezels.

I had one for a few years and never had any problem turning the bezel.
What do you guys think of this MOD?

I think I read somewhere that the bezel doesnt quite fit right (?).
At least it doesn't have that dreaded "non-AC"dial nonsense.

Seriously that makes the 2254 look amazing. I love that watch, but never have quite loved the bezel. That mod is incredible, even if it does make it kind of a franken. It's one I'd live with and love though!

Nice watch ! Had one of the latest (2009) but I sold it because I thougt a want only Tritium watches...

How cool would this watch be if the minute hand was baton instead sword.
I think a "mixed handset" always looks better somehow.

to me, is the mixed color/shade of the hands and markers that bother me..

IMO I would have to disagree , that鈥檚 what collecting and enjoying watches is all about .... opinion !
