Dear All

I just got a vintage Omega watch and I would like to request your help in it.

The ref. on the case is 2100
I couldnt find any info about this type on the internet.

The movement is a 23.4sc in it.

The case is looking similar as the Naiad, but as I checked this watch is not a Naiad and not even a medicus.

The dial seems to be ok, original based on the printing quality and the patina, ageing on it.
Or could be repainted?

What seems to be the biggest problem for me is the hands.
I think the hands are not original.
This watch is somewhere from the 1930-40 but that time these type of hands were not really usual
Could be original hands or replaced?

Does somebody know any info about this type, ref 2100?

If yes is it Something very rare, special model?

All help, info is much appreciated!!

Sending some pictures too about the watch.

Thanks!

The dial looks original to me. I don't know that particular model, but I don't see anything jumping out at me that would lead me to suspect the hands aren't correct.

The dial looks good to me but you don't see this style of dauphine hands until the 1950's. The serial number chart has this watch produced in 1935-1938.

The serial, date is based on the movement number or you have some info about this ref. 2100?

Thanks

Rare doesn't always translate to desirable or valuable. Sometimes it's merely odd.

Thanks, yes I know, its not a big value watch just because it is rare
But I think it is good to see sometimes these rare pieces, watches which were not really that popular as many other models made by Omega and these could be some expections what you cannot find any info about it in Omega's book, history webpage or on Google and this make this watch cool for me 😀
