Omega Planet Ocean Deployment Clip fail

Guys
Anyone have a solution for this predicament.
It has actually happened before and was repaired in a dodgy back street watch shop.
For 5 years I’ve had no issues and in the meantime the watch was serviced by Omega in 2018. Not sure if they include the strap but if it was functional would they have changed it??
Anyhow I need a repair solution without having to resort to spending another £500 on a service!
Found this on line- it’s an eBay special solution. Seems technically sound as it appears to positively engage with those swage points
Any advice welcomed
TIA
Russ
PS it a 2008 Omega Planet Ocean 2201.51.00

I wouldn't take my Omega to be repaired in a dodgy back street watch shop. Anyhow since this happened again i would take it to Omega and have it fixed. It wouldn't cost 500 pounds because they are not going to service the watch. They will fix the bracelet problem. And to be honest if i didn't have the money to fix it at Omega i would store it away until i could.

Yeah I can understand that logic but it failed walking down a street in Honky Fid and just happened to be passing said dodgy establishment (may have been leaving a dodgy establishment🙄)
As to only fixing with Omega possibly that may be the best solution but I also believe there are many artisans on here who can work to the same standards as an Omega Service Centre

Typically with this Omega would replace either the entire clasp of the steel underpiece if the rest is in good shape. Assuming this is a 1580/952 bracelet, the underpiece is not available for this bracelet so the entire clasp would be replaced. Clasp parts number is 117ST1580952.

Cheers, Al

Probably the safest is to replace the whole clasp anyway.

If you can handle the work yourself (not different from removing/adding links) you can have a local major AD or a boutique to order the clasp for you, Archer just provided the part number above. I reckon it will be in the 200 euros range.

It's £219 in the site below, which is know for being generally overpriced:

Deployment? or deployant? I'm confused...
Factor in I did lots of deployments and it appears my spell check is configured the same!
Nice to know though and if I’m ever deployed again 😲 i now know the difference👍
