Hi! I have searched for a Pie Pan for a long time now. I think I might have found one but I would like to be sure, that it is not fake.

Here's pictures of it:

Any comments would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Do you have any better pictures?

Unfortunately I do not have any more pictures. I'm going to see the watch in a few days. Could you name any specific things I should really look for when seeing it live?

Pictures are too poor to see much. Looks like it passes MOY but in my amateur opinion the crown looks too small and out of place.

In my very amateur opinion the vertical cross hair seems to intersect neither the Omega logo or the star in the middle, but it might just be the angle of the watch. I'd recommend you visit the watch, take as many pictures as you can, of the case from all angles but especially face on to the dial, and in natural but good light, and then post those pictures here. There are some amazingly smart people here (sadly I'm very much not one of them) and they're always willing to help if they've got enough to go on.

As others have said, much better photos would be needed to properly evaluate the watch. From what I can see, however, the case looks to have been polished and the lugs look quite soft. I think that the crown may be a clover crown which would be incorrect. Not sure about that second hand either.

You beat me. Shouldn't you still be sleeping?

Yes, but I’m a career insomniac.

The pictures are quite bad, but IMO the dial seems to be fake. The placement of the indexes and the line weights seems completely off, although this could be partly due to the poor pictures. I'm not up-to-date with the fake cases, but the geometry on this one seems to match some of the fakes that have cropped up.

Regardless, if you can get inside the watch, the caseback should read 14902, and the movement should be as 561.
