Omega Pie Pan ref 168.005 - advice

Hi Omega enthusiasts,

I recently came across a pie pan Constellation ref 168.005. On first glance, the watch looks aged which is consistent with a 60 year old watch, but the letter "A" in "OMEGA" looks extremely misaligned. Is it likely that this a refinished dial? Are there any signs that point towards a cheap knock off?

Thanks in advance!

The A of the applied Logo is bend. This happens when someone removed the Logo and indizies without caution to reprint the dial.
The Gold layer on the Steel is also wearing of. I would keep my Hands away from this one. There is a good and well priced example in the private Sell area.

Note how misaligned the star is, as well.

I definitely agree with @Endshake that it would be best to stay away from this example.

Welcome @watchingbez

Everything wrong with the lettering on this dial.

But don’t need to look past the broken crosshairs which never appear on a Constellation.

Poor redial.
