Hi all. I'm new to the forum, but hope to learn from you all and contribute little bits where I can. I'm considering purchasing a 14k gold Omega P-6638 I found for sale, but am unsure how to identify it as being real or fake. I understand this was a US market watch, with B&A case, but haven't come across this type of serial number before. Photos from the seller below. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the response XJR. I had a good feeling about this one, but that isn't always worth a whole lot! We'll see if I end up going for it, having a tough time deciding what I actually want from my next watch...
