According to Omega museum it was produced in 2002 (they would' t issue an extract since its post 2000, but gave the production year in their reply). Based on its warranty card it was first sold in Japan.
This model was only produced in 42mm, the case is identical to regular "modern" speedmaster pro, with the addition of date and moonphase correctors.
That is a gorgeous watch. Did you do your research before hand or was it a spontaneous purchase?
I researched before and had previously owned the steel version. When I purchased I already owned a yellow gold speedmaster but find this one easier to wear as it doesnt stand out in the same way the yellow gold does.
Things have moved on and I now own a couple of other "heavy metal" speedies.
Is the broadarrow in white gold as well? Is the movement the same? just one of the many fascinating aspects of the speedmaster- there are so many variations-- love it

bezel is white gold. movt is the 1861 manual wind just like the speedmasters!
I'm really interested in this watch...if only it was automatic as well..馃檨
Maybe this is a really dumb questions but here we go.
On pictures of the 3576.50.00 the moon on the moon phase complication is sometimes yellow and sometimes white. I haven't figured out if its just the 180 degree shift moon image of the same watch or if its a slight model variation.
