Omega logo engraved on case back since?

Can anybody tell me since when the round omega symbol is engraved on the back? I thought it would be from about 2008. Found a Seamaster 2531.80 which is from 2004 but has already got the round omega logo on the caseback.

2003. Omega introduced it on their best selling model at the time, which was the 2531.
