I have been wearing this GM to the office almost every working day for the past 3 years. Still very happy with it.

It is the blue/sedna gold combo and I feel that the gold accents really make the blue dial pop. Perfect office watch IMHO!

Not my best photo. The beauty of the dial is hard to capture in indoor lighting.

It certainly makes a statement on the leather strap.

I love how the blue dial on the Globemaster appears to change color depending upon the light level and angle - sometimes blue, sometimes grey, sometimes black.

I agree that the cyclops is not for everyone, but it doesn't bother me at all. As for the movement in the DJ41, the 3235 is a match for any 3 hand automatic movement. All of this is neither here or there, but the issue of the bracelet won't go away and people are back to the same issue they have with the Aqua Terra and the Speedmaster in that the lack of fine adjustment on the clasp means you need to be lucky to get the correct fit. which is not the case with the DJ41 as it has the useful adjustable clasp.

I have 3 bracelet watches a Seamaster and a Speedmaster plus a Citizen beater, I am very lucky as all 3 bracelets fit me very well but I have to agree that some on the fly micro adjustment on any bracelet would be very welcome. I am looking at a new Seamaster this autumn and note that this now has extra adjustment which is great. My Speedmaster is new this year but has minimal adjustment, its not stopping me from enjoying the watch it just a shame that the adjustability is minimal.

Not matter how often I check them out I just don’t connect to contemporary Rolex products; none of them, regardless of model, colour or price. The GM holds my interest more consistently.

That white gold pepsi looks very very good on you tho

I had one, sold to finance other watch and now thinking of adding it back to the collection. I love the dial in this watch.
Just quoting myself 😉

I ordered today the same configuration as a Christmas gift....should arrive by Friday, cannot wait and will post some photos 😀

Congratulations for the 2nd time. I own and love the opaline silver version too. Such an underrated model, but there does seem to be a steady following and fan base, as far as it seems from Instagram. Interestingly enough there are a couple people on IG that sold the GM only to want another one a few months down the line.

I bought a Seiko skx013 shortly after the Globemaster a year ago, because I wanted a beater watch that I could wear in place of the GM when need be. As it turned out, I’ve worn the GM everyday this year and haven’t worn the Seiko once... the GM has turned out to be such a great everyday watch.

This is definitely great candidate for everyday watch. I have 2 similar style watches Aqua Terra and Datejust) that someone could say are to close to each other, but this is what I like about them, you can wear them in any situation.

Agree with the AT comment, very similar maybe the AT is slightly more casual where the GM is more formal. Would definitely consider one if I didn’t have the AT or money was no object!!!

I must be in the minority here, but the curvature of the case between the lugs of the GM is giving me OCD. Why could they not use the case contour of the speedmaster and aquaterra cases in this area? The case protrudes out past the bezel here and it just comes across to me as a cost savings shortcut, like they didn't want to spend the time necessary to fully machine the case.

A flush to bezel contour here and an appropriately redesigned end link would take this watch from a NO to a MAYBE for me. As it looks now, I don't even feel like trying it on 🙁. Also, the date window at 6 isn't helping either.

That’s totally fine you don’t like it. Imagine what could happen if all of us would like only 1 type of women 😉

The platinum one doesn’t have a date window. Just saying. 😉

A good thing. Maybe if I had the dosh...

Only reason i can think of why omega opted for this inter-lug design would be to hommage the rolex day-date?

Rolex didn’t do that or the fluted bezel first.
