Hello, I purchased an Omega Genève watch on the secondary market. The serial number of the movement is 29872740, and the number on the back cover is 131.041. Could you please help me find information about this watch, such as the year of manufacture and any other available details?

It’s a solid 14K gold Geneve with a basic but very reliable and well made Calibre 601 movement from 1969, great first vintage Omega and if you have it serviced it will last a very long time, have any pics fron the front?

Google Omega serial number chart for estimated year of production. The number inside the case-back is the reference number, and will also yield information on the internet. Your watch looks ok.
