·For sale is a very nice vintage Omega Geneve reference 14724-1 SC. My favorite aspects about this watch are its unpolished case and arrowhead marker dial.
Case: Overall, the case is in excellent condition and is unpolished. The inside of lugs are sharp and bezel contours are retained. There are tiny superficial scratches, commensurate with age. Case measures 34 mm without crown.
Crown: Signed original crown.
Caseback: Great condition snap down caseback which retains original factory finishing. Minimal scratches from prior opening attempts. Inside is marked 14724-1 SC.
Movement: Cal 610 movement. 17.8 mil serial dates this to around 1960. This watch was not serviced in my possession but has been running well without noticeable gain or loss of time overnight. Date changes as it should. However, if you intend on wearing it daily, a service is always recommended.
Dial: Original unrestored dial in nice overall condition. There are dial imperfections, most noticeable at 8 o’clock and 9 o’clock. Please see the high resolution photos. Nice gold applied arrowhead markers and Omega logo. Swiss Made at 6 o’clock.
Hands: Original and in great condition.
Crystal: Unsigned crystal.
Strap: 18mm black leather alligator embossed strap with stainless steel buckle.
For this watch, I am asking $600 which will include shipping in the USA. Happy to accept bank wire, Venmo, Paypal Friends and Family. International deals will ship at cost to buyer. TransferWise works nicely for international deals.
