·Greetings OF,
Reworking the collection a bit and am starting a small sell-off of dress watches that I enjoy, but haven’t gotten much wrist time in the past couple years.
For sale today is my 1960-ish Omega Geneve with cursive text and crosshair dial. This is of the generation of Geneves that stood above the later models of the mid-60s and beyond and while it is gold plated, it’s still a great example, and I’d love for it to stay in the OF family.
Dial: Lovely, original two tone dial is in great shape overall. There are some blemishes most noticeably in the NE quadrant close to the crosshairs. I’ve done my best to show this in the photos and intentionally set the hands so as not to cover this up. I can say that it’s barely noticeable on the wrist. The hands and markers are, to my eye, pristine, with only the faintest bit of tarnish on the seconds hand.
Movement: Inside the manual wind caliber 610 is in great condition. The watch winds, sets, and runs great. The date snaps over at 12 and the quickset is working as it should. That said, the service history is unknown.
Case: The 34.5mm gold-plated case appears, dare I say, unpolished, or at least minimally so. The chamfers are crisp and the plating is in great shape. The case back is a bit tarnished (possibly from a strap?) and looks to have been lightly polished at some point to address this.
Crown: Probably original, tired, and with plating loss. It has a tiny bit of play. This doesn’t affect the winding/setting.
Crystal: Not original, generic, some minor wear.
Pictures:
Asking $650 USD. Price includes tracked, insured shipping anywhere CONUS. It comes with the strap pictured. It’s a very lightly used Hirsch that looks great with the dial. A CONUS sale is preferred. Payment via Pay Pal F&F, Zelle, or Venmo. No returns.

Thanks for looking and thanks to OF for the space!
