Omega Dynamic Geneve - Information Required

Hello, I’ve recently acquired the following Grey Dial Geneve with Day & Date and believe it houses the cal 752 movement.

I just wanted some information on the exact reference number. My research suggests this could well be a 166.0079 as it has riveted hour markers, a painted dial and other features that belong to a dynamic with such a case. (The later ones being highly polished)

I unfortunately don’t have pictures of the internals and hence decided to post here, to seek help from experienced owners. ( This being my very first Dynamic)

Also if there’s a thread covering Dynamic watch images, that’s something that could prove helpful too!

Thanks

If you search on the forum, there are several threads on Dynamics, including an "in progress" catalog of all known Dynamic dials (you should add yours!).

The Constellation Collectors Blog has an excellent article on Dynamics that is definitely worth reading as well.

Not an expert on these, but I would agree with your assessment of 166.0079. And it definitely looks like a MkI case, as the radial brushing is still visible at the bottom.

Having the bracelet is a plus and I’m sure it looks great in the hand. I do like the orange second hands on some of these variants - so of the time!

Thanks. You’re right; it does look fabulous in person 😀
