·Hello,
I got this nice watch as a gift from my parents in 1997 and used it for many years, till the bracelet broke. I looked for a repair for some time, I was reluctant to pay what then seemed an outrageous amount of money to fix. As a matter of fact, the watch then stayed unused for years till a few weeks ago when it suddenly came to my mind that *MAYBE* the battery could have leaked and destroyed the watch movement. To make it short, I would like to open the watch myself and check the internal watch condition.
However, after reading a lot on the Internet, and hopefully learning something too, I realized I can't tell whether this watch has a screwed or press fit case back. The back is totally smooth, none of the dents usually found in screwed case backs, but I can't locate a definite slot for a case opener either. Or, better, there is something that looks like that in one point, but it is really minimal: I tried to fit a Victorinox 0.2102 case opener, but the feeling is it can't have enough hold.
So.. what kind of case back does this watch have?
