Don’t look tiered with a drink for Connie’s…

The golden back of the case led me to the wrong decision to buy this Connie for 1600chf.
Surprisingly: the golden Back is stainless steel with no hint of plated gold.

What are your thoughts to this impulsive buy? Other problems with the watch or is the rest legit?

The dial has no scratch - everything on the glass. Watch is running but need probably a service.

Thx for your comments!

Watch looks legit dial is good, case good except for missing medallion in back. Movement looks clean.
These were gold capped not plated, or solid gold.
Not terrible buy it’s good from front ! Vintage medallion difficult to find.

Looks like someone did do a gold electroplate on the case though. It should be stainless with gold capped lugs and a gold bezel. The original stainless is visible in the movement shot, if one looks around the place where the caseback contacts the midcase, the gold plating is coming loose.

IMO, given the current market, 1600 CHF isn't crazy, but it would be on the higher end for me considering the dial spotting, and the outright missing medallion.
