Omega Constellation Jumbo 168.001 - fair price?

Hi everyone.
I have been looking for this model for a while. Came across a very nice specimen, never refurbished (not sure I believe this) and condition appears much better than any other I have seen.
However, I do think £2750 is a looooot. Would you agree, even if in mint original condition?

From a brief look i see lots of spotting on the dial, so likely not a redial. I can't see the printing well on my phone so no comment.
Since it is not perfect perfect that asking price seems $1000 too high, at least.

Case looks to have had a polish or two, dial looks original, but has some spots on it, I’d say it’s 4 x over priced

The dome dials are worth significantly less than pie pans. Not all sellers recognise this.

Just for clarity - IIRC jumbo Constellations came with plain dome dials, two-tone dome dials, curtain dials, striped dials and quilted dials but no pie-pan dials. (that really would be a thing to find)

I think the excess price for this watch is attributed to it being a jumbo which, whilst not the total rarity it was once thought to be, are far less common than other Constellations and being larger attract a premium.

However, the price asked for this, especially given the condition of the dial is pretty outrageous.

Yes I just meaning in general, sellers often see a lyre lug dome dial constellation and price them in line with pie pans. I agree in this case it’s very likely the ‘premium’ is due to the size.

I had a nice 168.010 with pie pan dial for sale ($1200usd) and had to withdraw because nobody wanted to buy.

Nice watch - and they wear beautifully on the wrist.
Folks obviously don’t know what’re are missing.

Slightly unfortunate timing on your post and a little confusing as I guess you are talking about the OP’s jumbo, not Hoi’s 168.010.
